Hand rankings in Classic Teen Patti, from highest to lowest, are: Trail (three of a kind), Pure Sequence (straight flush), Sequence (straight), Colour (flush), Pair (two of a kind), and High Card. The Ace is the highest card in the deck. In Muflis this order is completely reversed.
One of the most interesting strategic elements unique to Teen Patti — compared to standard poker — is the option to play "blind" even into later rounds of a hand. A blind player pays half the current stake per round but has no information about their cards. It creates a psychological dynamic that is completely absent in Western card games and is part of what makes Teen Patti so deeply engaging for South Asian players.
